Party Train Entertainment is proud to present Virtual Reality programming for the college market.

 

Virtual Reality (VR) is the use of computer technology to create a simulated environment.  Unlike traditional user interfaces, VR places the user inside an experience.  Instead of viewing a screen in front of them, users are immersed and able to interact with 3D worlds in a 360-degree video.  The three-dimensional images appear to be life-size from the perspective of the user and it has the ability to track the user’s motions, particularly their head and eye movements and correspondingly adjust the images on the user’s display to reflect the change in perspective.  In short, Virtual Reality creates an artificial environment to inhabit that makes us feel as if we are in a different world altogether, a very realistic-feeling different world.  

 

In October 2019 Party Train Entertainment introduced Virtual Reality into our  FRIGHT NIGHT!! – The  Ultimate Haunted Attraction for Halloween with tremendous success.  Participants are asked to put on VR goggles and are then transported into a basement with a psycho killer on the loose.  For 2 minutes they search for a way to escape the basement before the psycho killer can find them.  And when at the end the killer finds them, the screams are ear-piercing.  You can find out more about FRIGHT NIGHT!! - The Ultimate Haunted Attraction for Halloween on the FRIGHT NIGHT!! webpage.

 

Now we want to continue moving forward with this new technology by creating new programs where participants can enter realistic-feeling different worlds.
